No Distractions is an open-source Safari App Extension that was developed with the intention of offering users enhanced control over their YouTube usage, steering away from being solely influenced by the platform's algorithms. This tool provides the capability to conceal video recommendations and various distractions present on YouTube's front, search, and watch pages. Additionally, users have the option to hide thumbnail images along with advertisements that might be incorporated within search results.

By simply clicking on the extension icon, users can customize their viewing preferences based on their individual needs. To retain these settings for future sessions, there is an option to save configurations. For those seeking to introduce a deliberate pause in the modification of settings to curb impulsive changes, a customizable waiting period can be set. This feature prompts users to wait—for instance, 5 seconds—upon accessing the settings before adjustments can be made.

The application is transparently open source and prioritizes user privacy by abstaining from data collection.
